Katherine + Joshua: University Club: Wedding

Katherine and Joshua’s wedding was an awesome day to end 2011 season. I remember looking at my assistant Liz during the reception and saying, “Holy cow! Lawyers know how to party!” Their guests were banging on tables, and cheering them on the entire night. It was a wonderful celebration to witness.

Katherine and Joshua, thank you for sharing your love with me! And your cupkates :)

Katherine, you’re lovely!

Thank you Lizzie for assisting me! A couple of her shots are above :)

Ariane

Let your hair down.
Laugh hard. Really really hard.
Share your insecurities, stresses, and your worries.

At the end of the day, that’s what makes life…life. You go through good, bad, and everything in between. Every second is worth living.

Below are a few portraits of my gorgeous friend, Ari. A few weeks ago, we went to Point Reyes. We ate, let our hair down, laughed real hard, and shared our insecurities, stresses, worries, and everything in between.

I love these photos of Ari because as simple as they are, they show so much more to me. Those eyes. Her laugh. The worry of what will happen if you quit your job for something you love. Staying or leaving?  That hair? Oh, Ari. Please let your hair down more often.

I hope you. Yes, YOU! I hope you know that make-up and perfect hair is not what makes you, or a photo beautiful. It’s in your laugh, eyes, curly wind blown hair, laughter, love and moments. Letting go, and embracing life as it comes to you. I think that’s pretty damn beautiful. That’s what I want more of.

Somebody That I Used To Know.

When I love a song, I really really love it. I listen to it over and over again until I can’t anymore. Currently, it’s this song.

Happy Friday!

Jessica

My darling friend, Jessica.

I met Jessica in 2010 when we both attended an industry event. We were both just starting out at the time so we exchanged information. Fast forward to now, I am so happy that we’ve become close. She is one of the girls in this industry who’s friendship I really cherish.  I know I can call her when I need someone to listen and be real, and she does the same with me. Other than that, we both just laugh like crazies together, or at each other :) I absolutely love that.

I had the chance to photograph her for the launch of her new brand, and we had a great time. I wanted to share a few with you today. She’s beautiful! Especially when she laughs.

Jesssss!! One of the things I love  most about you is that besides being awesome, you’re humble. Thank you for that. This year is yours! I am so proud of everything you have, and will accomplish. I’ll always cheer you on!
Lastly, thank you for your friendship. I hope you know just how much I truly appreciate it. Now, move to SF! Okay? <3

Thailand and 35.

I’m still here.

I want to share a few photos from Thailand. I shot these with my 35mm.  To be honest, I haven’t shared any photos from Thailand because every time I pull them up on my computer, I wish I were still there. True story. One thing that really inspires me is being in a new place. There’s nothing like wandering around a foreign country discovering the beauty in it’s people, places, food, and culture. Thailand has no shortage of that whatsoever. I loved our time there.

I wanna go back.

I will share more photos soon. <3
