A favorite part of my day is when I’m seated in front of my computer editing images, and getting lost in the music coming from the speakers. I love to think that the louder it’s playing, the more I get lost in the heart of it. I find peace in it because it allows me to forget about the thoughts that crowd my mind most of the day. As crazy as it sounds, I consider this my little quiet time.
At the moment transatlanticism is playing on repeat. I heard this song while watching Parenthood last week, and I can’t believe that I’ve forgotten how beautiful it is. I’ve even forgotten that I have the album. So with the editing I have to do this week, I’m excited to get lost in the music. Have my kind of quiet time.
Here’s a favorite frame of my dear friend, Ala. I snapped this while we were in Joshua Tree for our traveling hearts trip. <3
