I met Linda and Adam for the first time today. They flew in from Ohio to get married at City Hall. It was just the 3 of us. We laughed, they laughed at me, we had a great time. Now I’m at home going through images, and I had to share some. I’m so happy right now. Turn up the music and dance, happy.

I’m incredibly thankful that they chose me to be there with them. I needed it. A day like today. It’s just what I needed.

I love being behind my camera. I love the people I meet. I love that I get to be a witness to special days.

I can’t wait to share the rest of these with you.

Lauren is best friends with my friend and past bride, Liz. She was a bridesmaid at the wedding. Months later, Lauren and I became friends. The 3 of us have girls night whenever we get the chance. Shot these of her during our last one. I love them. They make me feel good. So, here. I’m sharing them with you.

Alone or with someone special.

This set from Johanna and Chris’ session makes me want to shout it out from the rooftops. (Rooftop = my blog) I’m not in this photo, but I want this set hanging right above my computer.

I’m proud of these moments I’m able to capture. The way my couples interact, the glances, the iloveyous, the tilt your head back from laughing so hard moments.

You can’t see me laughing in these photos, but I was there laughing just as hard. These connections. It’s so awesome, and I love every single bit of it.

This was my very first solo male portrait session. Besides my grooms, I photograph mostly women. So. I’d be lying if I didn’t tell you that I may have told John to turn his face towards his shoulder and give me a smoldering look. It was pretty hilarious! :D

I really enjoyed this session, and I’m excited to photograph more males outside of a wedding day.

 John is awesome. He’s a writer + a music and potato chip lover. I loved photographing him.

Move over, Ryan Gosling.

When Brianne first contacted me, she told me I had great taste in music based on a past blog post. I immediately knew that I wanted to meet with her :) Honestly, what I really loved in her email was reading a bit about the two of them. When she talked about Niall, I instantly felt just how much she adored him. Awesome fact: A few years ago, Niall left his job to serve our country.

These two balance each other out perfectly. Niall is a little shy (just a little because he definitely had us laughing during the session) and Brianne is more outgoing. Together, they are so easy to be around and a lot of fun.

I was so excited to finally get them in front of my camera after re-scheduling twice due to crazy weather. We roamed the streets of our neighborhood, then headed over to Cavallo Point where Niall proposed. Shooting there never disappoints as there is always amazing light + soft wind! Two of my favorite things. I could do without the cold once the sun is hidden behind the headlands ;) haha.

These are just a few favorites from their session. Aren’t they one good lookin couple?

This photo is one of my all time favorites! You can see just how Niall lights her up. Every girl deserves to look this happy.

Our meeting lasted about 2 hrs, and we didn’t even realize it. We talked about their wedding, and anything else we loved. When I didn’t hear from them several days later, my heart was sad. No, really. Ask my husband. SO. When Lannie called me to tell me they wanted me to document their day, I was ecstatic! My day was made :)

I love these two a lot. They introduced me to this, and I couldn’t be more grateful for that. We spent an afternoon in Point Reyes, and had a blast. I wanted to share just a few today. I really really love these. We were on our way to the beach and pulled over to the side of the road. 1.2.3….SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!

I don’t think they noticed the camera much during their entire session. I love that about them. They are incredibly loving with each other, and aren’t afraid to show that. I really love that about them. I enjoyed spending the afternoon with them in Muir woods + headlands.

They are having a small wedding at my favorite venue this June :) I know it’s going to be an amazing day!
